PIS Soft Board Winners

 Podar International School CBSE Nerul promotes sustainability through the school soft boards.

In order to spread awareness among the students about the concept of zero pollution and conservation the following topics were taken up to decorate the soft boards:
How I can help to keep the earth green; a plastic free world; let's preserve animal life on our earth.; are the Mumbai Flamingoes in the pink of health; eco-bricks : an important step to a plastic free world; human beings are responsible for the loss of biodiversity in nature; hybrid vehicles: the vehicles of the future; corona pandemic- a blessing in disguise for the environment!
The students and teachers worked hard to do their bit .
The winners were
1st Category: Grade 2 D
2nd Category: Grade 3 E
3rd Category: Grade 5 G
4th Category: Grade 7 F and 8 D
5th Category: Grade 9 B is the winner.
Their diligence and hard work was appreciated and certificates were handed out to the best classes

Robotics | V & VI | VII & VIII

Robotics programs for middle school students facilitate science and math learning inside the classroom. Students are able to understand the concepts of tension and force when they choose the materials used in the robot. PIS CBSE Nerul conducts Robotics classes every Saturday. These classes are being mentored by three young and enthusiastic mentors - Shaan Mukherjee, Rahil Shah & Krish Narrotam . Students of Grades 6,7 & 8 participate enthusiastically and are always looking forward to learning something new in every session.
