Children's Day

 The Children's Day was a day that the students were waiting for eagerly. They know that each year the school is ready to give them a surprise on this day. And they were right ! 
The class-teachers had arranged wonderful sessions full of fun, for the students. The session began with a video on World Children's Day . The teacher told the children why we celebrate the same on the 14th of November in India. The teachers had designed several ppts, games, quizzes and interactive sessions for the children. 

A stamp making competition was conducted based on the theme - Children's Day - what it means to you ! The children enjoyed the session and would remember , how in spite of all odds they are  "like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly and nurtured as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow!!!"

 Podar International School CBSE, Nerul celebrates Rakshabandhan.  The students of std 5th to 10th took the Rakshabandhan to the next level. Traditionally, a festival that expresses the bond of love and protection between a brother and a sister, this time we took it beyond the confines of the  family, and reached out to the ecosystem around us.
