Hindi Diwas - Std 1st to 4th

  Podar International School Cbse, #Nerul Hindi Diwas is celebrated on the 14th of September, to commemorate the adoption of Hindi in Devanagari script as one of the official language in different Hindi speaking states of India. Let's celebrate Hindi Diwas to spread its importance worldwide. The school has organized different activities class-wise like- Class 1 - Vyanjan flower pot Class 2- Draw National fruit, National flower and National bird by using your finger or thumb. Class 3 -हिंदी दिवस के ऊपर चित्र बनाएं एवं सुविचार लिखे और सुनाएं . Class 4- किसी एक प्रसिद्ध कवि का चित्र चिपकाकर उनके बारे में 4 लाइन लिखे. The students participated with utmost sincerity and pride .

Teacher's Day Celebration Class V - X

 Podar International School CBSE Nerul hosts Teachers' Day Programme  "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops."  The students surprised their teachers by arranging online  sessions filled with fun and frolic. It was a time to show their respect and love through cultural events, quizzes, and lots of  interactive games .  The best part was that the  students of classes 3 to 10 had coordinated the event through the prefects without any help from the teachers. 'To empower them and to inspire them'... that is what a true teacher does!

Teacher’s Day celebration -Std 1st to 4th

  Teacher’s Day in India is celebrated on 5th September to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,  a renowned philosopher, statesman and teacher who was the first Vice-President and the second President of Independent India.  The  Students have shown their love by making cards, ppt, poster, saying poems and songs.  The teachers were overwhelmed at the enthusiasm with which the students participated. #MoreThanGrades Podar Group of Schools

Culminating event

  The  culminating event for the first theme,”Patriotism" in the series of welfare activities, was successfully conducted today by class teachers (grades 1-10) along with the prefects of the respective classes. The event comprised a quiz on the said theme.  There was a wholesome participation and productive interaction across the classes.

National Sports Day

  Life is full of failures and successes .  A sportsman spirit helps us to cope with failures and disappointments and renew our efforts for another time. National Sports Day was celebrated in School to instill a  spirit of sportsmanship among our children. The teachers discussed the importance of sports and the importance of this day. The main attraction of the session, however, was a game of bowling by the students. They had prepared  makeshift  skittles with plastic bottles  and also an alley with cardboard. The children enjoyed the session along with their class mates and teachers. That was the best we could do to bring about  smiles in the children during the online school ..          

Janmashtami Celebration-Std 1st to 4th

  Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. The Indian festival of Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Krishna through symbols of dahihandi as well as through dance-dramas, symbolizing the joyful innocence of children, reminding us that love and life is the manifestation of god. The school has arranged for a Drawing & Art activity for classes 1 to 4 .All the students participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
