Plant a tree, pick up trash, purchase biodegradable products, and commit to reduce, reuse and recycle. Planting trees is one of the easiest and most sustainable ways to positively affect the environment. We need trees now more than ever! One important place to start caring for the Earth is right in the classroom. This April, we celebrated Earth Day with our children to teach them to be the best stewards of a healthier Earth. The students had different activities in school. While the younger children made pictorial presentations of their responsibilities towards our Mother Earth, others brought biodegradable products from home and spoke about their benefits. The older students brought awareness by cleaning up their classes,  corridors and bringing potted plants from home. All our students pledged never to waste food, care for plants and trees, and dispose of garbage  properly.
